The Horsfield family has served bereaved families in Lancashire for five generations. In 1970, after leaving King Edward VII School in Lytham, Jeffrey Horsfield, the younger son of Thomas, joined the family business in Lytham St Annes.
Having learnt his trade the traditional way, Jeffrey adheres to the time-honoured principles of care, compassion and support. Unlike many national funeral firms, Horsfield Funerals is a family concern, with a focus on looking after the well-being of the bereaved and providing a truly dignified service.
For the last 38 years, Jeffrey has been involved at the highest levels of the funeral industry in local, national and international matters. He was prominently involved in a unique worldwide organisation and dealt with the aftermath of large-scale disasters such as Manchester Airport, Zeebrugge, Piper Alpha, Lockerbie and the East Midlands Airport tragedy.
Jeffrey Horsfield has also spearheaded an award-winning National Education programme for the funeral industry, promoting best practice across all funeral firms and ensuring that the service clients receive is never compromised. Together with his wife Deborah, Jeffrey provides a truly personal service that prizes your needs above all else.
